Gyoza wrapper
The gyozas are also called "dumplings" in other countries. They can be filled in many ways and are easy to cook and store. The wraps can be stored in the fridge.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (320 g)
- Warm water (175 mL)
Steps
- Mix the ingredients until a homogeneous dough is formed. Keep kneading the dough for
3~5 minutes until it becomes smooth. - Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for
45 minutes. - Divide the roll into small balls and roll them into thin and circular sheets.
- To store them, put an extra thin layer of flour over each side of each wrap so they can be stacked, and they don't stick together.
Hint
To roll it out (step 3), you can also roll everything together and use a circular-cutter (around 8 cm diameter).
