Apple Cake
Simple apple cake which can be prepared with only a blender. The original recipe my grandma used to make had a cup of yoghurt as the measurement for all the liquids.
Ingredients
- Apples (4)
- Eggs (2 medium)
- Milk (200 mL)
- Flour (100 g)
- Neutral oil (100 mL)
- Sugar (100 g)
- Cinnamon
- Jam/Confiture — Blueberry jam is recommended.
Steps
- Peel 3 apples and chop them in pieces for the blender.
- Add to the blender the eggs, milk, oil, flour, sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Blend everything until a smooth mix.
- Prepare an oiled cake-mold and pour the mix in it.
- Chop the last apple in thin slices and put it on top of the cake.
- Bake it at 180 °C for
1 hour. - Let it sit until it cools down. Then let it rest in the fridge at least
2 hours. - Add some jam on the top of the cake before serving.
Note
The jam cannot be added on top of the cake while it is still hot.
